ISS has dramatically increased its staff, but not its HR department. Difficulties with onboarding and employee support were compounded by the specifics of the industry – a high demand for IT specialists, staff turnover, the need to quickly introduce people to complex processes, and so on. HR managers did not physically have enough time to help all our employees.
The need to automate the company’s HR processes became acute. Fortunately, we had already created and developed a product for automating business operations, which served as an ideal foundation for all our ideas.

We designed and launched a system that automates HR processes based on microservices: communication takes place in Telegram – the company’s internal messenger. In total, we have set up about 50 intent filters – the main reasons our colleagues appeal to the chatbot. With this tool, we conduct onboarding, regular surveys that allow us to collect interesting metrics, release newsletters, and help employees quickly find information. Its functionality is still gradually expanding.
