Background
The volunteer movement is gaining popularity in Russia: more and more people across the country want to participate in charitable activities, meet like-minded people, discover new things, and gain useful skills. The existing nationwide portal for volunteers was a regular register of organizations that needed new services and a comprehensive transformation to serve its growing number of users.
The project’s overall goal was to help anyone to easily contribute to a good cause of their choosing, and thus promote further development of Russia’s volunteer movement.
Create an updated version of the portal for volunteers. It needed to be a personalized service with dynamic content designed to work with millions of users. To begin implementation, our team needed to carry out an in-depth analysis of the client’s processes and requirements, as well as conduct interviews with volunteers and large volunteer organizations. This helped us determine what functionality the future system would need and think through user scenarios. The assignment also included updating the portal’s design.

We created a multifunctional online platform and mobile application to form a community of socially active citizens. A wide range of functionality and personalized services are provided, which are actively used by both categories of users – volunteers and volunteer organizations. Automation has accelerated and simplified all steps in organizing and scaling successful events.
